The Lions Clubs of Augusta, Margaret River, Dunsborough & Busselton are not just event supporters—they’re essential to the heart and success of the Salvos South West Charity Toy Ride.
 

Each year, these incredible clubs come through with generous donations, hands-on help, and community spirit that keep the ride rolling and the Christmas magic alive.
 

 

🥓 How the Lions Support the Ride

• Augusta kicks off the main event with the Lions’ famous BIG Breakfast at the Compound—fueling riders and supporters for the day ahead.

• In Margaret River and Dunsborough, Lions volunteers welcome the ride, take donations, and sell raffle tickets to raise extra funds for the Salvos Christmas Appeal.

• The ride ends in Busselton, where the Lions serve up a celebratory Lunch—and continue their tradition of donating thousands of dollars to support families in need.

As well as volunteering to make this event a huge success, These Lions Clubs have proudly donated every single year, in total over the years tens of thousands of dollars! And they remain vital partners in our shared mission to make Christmas brighter for South West families.
