🚧 Volunteer as a Traffic Marshal
The Salvos South West Charity Toy Ride relies on dedicated Volunteer Traffic Marshals to keep the ride safe, smooth, and running like a dream.
Without this team, the event wouldn’t flow nearly as well — so if you’re able to lend a hand, we’d love to have you on board.
🛣️ What Does a Traffic Marshal Do?
Just like previous years, Marshals play a key role in guiding the Toy Ride convoy across the South West:
-
Ride ahead of the group to a designated intersection
-
When the ride arrives, and if safe to do so, pause traffic so all motorcycles can pass through together
-
Once the final bike rolls through, tag onto the back and enjoy the ride!
-
Non-riders can also assist — all you need is to be at an allocated intersection in your town at the given time
📸 Bonus: You’ll have front-row views and perfect moments for photos and video clips!
