Volunteering 

Volunteer Traffic Marshals play a BIG part in the smooth running of the Salvos South West Toy Ride! Without Volunteer Traffic Marshals we would struggle.

Just like we have done in previous years, as a Traffic Marshal you will ride in front of the main event to an allocated intersection, when the ride arrives at the intersection, if safe to do so you will stop traffic to allow all motorcycles to pass through in one go, once the last motorcycle has passed you will just tag onto the end and join in the ride - even if you don't ride you can still assist providing you can be at an allocated intersection in your town at a given time. 

The Police have stopped traffic at any traffic lights during previous events, so we are usually only required on junctions & roundabouts - we need as many volunteers as possible to help with this. This year we would love enough volunteers, so each person only needs to cover one intersection, but to do this we need a lot of volunteers.

If safe to do so, you will be in the best position to take any photos & videos of the ride!
